Lionsgate has dropped the official trailer for the upcoming film Antebellum, which stars Janelle Monáe. A teaser trailer was released earlier this year.
The film is from activists Gerard Bush and Christopher Renz. QC Entertainment, the production company behind Get Out and Us, are producers on the project.
With the trailer comes an official description of the film: Successful author Veronica Henley (Janelle Monáe) finds herself trapped in a horrifying reality and must uncover the mind-bending mystery before it’s too late.
The film also stars Kiersey Clemons, Gabourey Sidibe, Marque Richardson, Eric Lange, Jena Malone, Jack Huston, Tongayi Chirisa, Robert Aramayo and Lily Cowles.
