My names is Aina Fadina. I am a Nigerian-American fashion model and entrepreneur, based in NYC. Based on my exposure in the fashion and creative business, living in NYC, traveling around the world, and my love for Africa, I created the series, “I of Africa.”

Featuring guests from the United States, Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, England, France, Sudan, Kenya, and Germany, “I of Africa” is an original multimedia series celebrating individualism and innovative thinkers, while telling inspirational stories inspired by Africa, focusing on cultural dialogues inspired by Africa around the world.

More importantly, I want the world to see the faces, and hear the stories of individuals around the world who are part of this liberating movement. It is about showcasing the diversity of Africa, and the different layers and textures of people inspired by the continent.

The show, was named by CNN, as a top web-series to watch. In addition, it is currently being aired on all international routes on South African Airways.

“I of Africa” has been entirely self-funded, and I’v been working on raising capital to continue producing content for the project.

The upcoming 3rd season and website, launching in a few weeks, will feature Mimi Plange, Marcus Samuelson, Laolu Senbanjo, Dj Edu, Kluk CGDT Seun Kuti, and Blitz The Ambassador.  This season was filmed in Lagos, NYC, Cape Town, Paris, and London. Features guest from Ghana, Ethiopia/Sweden, Nigeria, Kenya, and South Africa.

In the meantime, watch all previous seasons of the series, which included interviews with Nigerian born, Paris based filmmaker Andy Amadi Okorafor, British Nigerian furniture designer Yinka Ilori, creative director Jewel by Lisa, Lisa Folawiyo, sound artist with Emeka Ogboh, Nigerian Born Producer and Composer extraordinaire Synematik, and others.
