In the premiere of the ninth season of Iyanla: Fix My Life, life coach Iyanla Vanzant takes Love & Hip Hop Althea, Black Ink Crew‘s Dutchess and Bridezillas’ Minyon to task for using reality TV as their personal “poison.”

In the exclusive clip below from the premiere, “Reality Rehab,” Vanzant tells these women to own their stories and their truths instead of hiding behind material things and personal lies. “Their addiction to fame and fortune have left these ladies lost, and Iyanla intervenes to help them reclaim their identity,” states the official description.

Iyanla: Fix My Life airs on OWN Jan. 12 at 9 p.m. ET.
