Here's your first-look at Sony Pictures' Sparkle remake, which stars Jordin Sparks, Whitney Houston, Carmen Ejogo, Tika Sumpter, Derek Luke, and Mike Epps, shepherded by Salim and Mara Brock Akil (with original music composed by R. Kelly).
It opens August 17th, 2012.
