Watch First Promo for ‘Ice & Coco’ - Fox to Test-Run New Talk Show This Summer Hosted by the Couple

Ice & CocoFox will test-run a new talk show called "Ice & Coco," hosted by actor and rapper Ice-T and his wife Coco, this summer.

The show will debut on August 3, airing daily (Monday through Friday), and will run for 3 weeks, immediately following Fox’s test-run of another talk show featuring a married couple, Boris Kodjoe and Nicole Ari Parker. That show, to be produced by the Fox Television Stations, will debut in early July and run for 4 weeks.

The hour-long program, like the one Kodjoe and Parker will host, will offer the couple’s take on everything from current events, relationships and much more, I’m sure. It will also feature celebrity guests.

Presented in a “fun, authentic vibe,” the husband-and-wife duo will bring a “fresh perspective to the daily talk show format,” says the press release.

“We see this as another attempt to do something different – big personalities, new to the daypart,” said Frank Cicha, senior vice president of programming, Fox Television Stations, in a statement. “Ice-T helped change popular culture. We’re trying to do the same thing for daytime.”

"Ice & Coco" will be executive produced by "The Oprah Winfrey Show’s" Candi Carter and produced by Telepictures Productions.

Previously, the couple starred on E!’s "Ice Loves Coco." Ice-T currently stars on NBC’s "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit."

"Ice & Coco" premieres August 3 on select Fox-owned TV stations.

Fox has released a first promo for the show, and it’s embedded below:
