nullTrailer below for an upcoming dramedy titled "Reach Me," featuring an ensemble cast that includes Lauren Cohan, Sylvester Stallone, Kyra Sedgwick, Cary Elwes, Terry Crews, Thomas Jane, Nelly, Omari Hardwick, Tom Sizemore, Tom Berenger, Kelsey Grammer, and Danny Trejo.

Written and directed by John Herzfeld, the film’s story follows a group of people that all have a connection to a self-help book written by a reclusive former football coach.

This was a project that ran out of funding before shooting ended, when one of its financial backers backed out, which led to director Herzfeld, star Stallone and producers Cassian Elwes, and Rebekah Chany, to crowdfunding platforms (Kickstarter and Indiegogo) to raise (initially) $250,000 last fall. But despite the fact that the campaign surpassing its goal, before its end date, director Herzfeld pulled it, and took it to Indiegogo instead, stating that he preferred the latter’s "more flexible" format that allows international contributions and pledges beyond $10,000. Although the Indiegogo campaign only asked for $50,000, after the production found another independent backer who contributed a sizable sum apparently. The Indiegogo campaign ended up attracting over 3 times what its goal was, raising $181,140.

"Reach Me" will open in cinemas in the USA, on October 24.
