nullFunny or die?.

It’s all part of the marketing campaign for Justin Simien’s "Dear White People," which opened to impressive numbers over the weekend, in a limited release; look for it to expand its reach this weekend, and thereafter, for those who don’t live near a theater where it’s currently playing.

The *ad* asks the question: Do you ever feel like you say the wrong thing around your black friend or co-worker? Have you ever found yourself tip-toeing the line between trying to be "honest" and just plain being racist? Then Racism Insurance is for you!

If you’ve seen those State Farm Insurance commercials (in which a policy holder finds him/herself in a jam only State Farm Insurance can provide, and, like the Bat signal, calls upon them for assistance by singing the company’s theme song: "Like a good neighbor State Farm is there"), then this "Racism Insurance" ad will feel familiar.
