A month after starring in Universal’s Girls Trip along with Jada Pinkett Smith, Queen Latifah and Regina King, Tiffany Haddish is set to debut her first stand-up comedy special. The special, titled Tiffany Haddish: She Ready! From the Hood to Hollywoodwill premiere on Showtime.

Filmed at the Nate Holden Performing Arts Center, the Los Angeles native Haddish tackles subjects ranging from her early days in foster care and being bullied on the playground, to getting revenge on ex-boyfriends and introducing Will and Jada Pinkett Smith to Groupon, says the press release. With her bold and unique style of comedy and refreshingly positive outlook on life, Haddish proves “She Ready” for the spotlight!

An early standout since first appearing on Def Comedy Jam, Bill Bellamy’s Who’s Got Jokes? and Comedy Central’s Reality Bites, in addition to Girls Trip, Haddish can currently be seen starring in the third and final season of The Carmichael Show.

Those salty about The Carmichael Show’s cancellation should have no fear, as Haddish will be starring alongside Tracy Morgan in his upcoming comedy series The Last OG, created and executive-produced by Morgan and Jordan Peele. It also stars Cedric the Entertainer, Allen Maldonado (black-ish, Survior’s Remorse) and Dante Hoagland (Young Michael Bivins in The New Edition Story).
