Straight Out Of ComptonFrom the SoundWorks Collection team comes the below profile with composer Joe Trapanese and his work on "Straight Outta Compton" – the F. Gary Gray-directed box office smash, which has grossed almost $200 million globally thus far.

The Universal Pictures project stars O’Shea Jackson Jr., Corey Hawkins and Jason Mitchell as Ice Cube, Dr. Dre and Eazy-E, respectively. Meanwhile, Aldis Hodge plays MC Ren, and Neil Brown Jr. is DJ Yella in the N.W.A biopic titled "Straight Outta Compton."

Carra Patterson and Paul Giamatti are also in the cast, playing Tomica Woods, Eazy-E’s widow (who inherited his share of N.W.A. song rights, and is also a producer on the film), and Jerry Heller, manager of the group.

Keith Stanfield plays Snoop Dogg. 

The film follows the group as they emerge from the streets of Compton, California in the mid-1980s, to go onto revolutionize pop culture with their music,.

Will Packer serves as executive producer of the film, alongside Gray.
