I wonder if Vanilla Ice is aware of this…
Earlier this year, the CW announced plans to expand into the web space, creating CWD, or the CW Digital Studio, with its first offerings scheduled to launch this fall, right about now.
Among the initiatives first four projects, is this one featuring Hart of Dixie's Wilson Bethel, titled Stupid Hype, which, as THR notes, centers on the (mis)adventures of an ex-breakdancer turned up-and-coming rap star in 1990, who loses everything.
The first full-length trailer for Stupid Hype, which features appearance and cameos from faces you'll instantly recognize, has been released, and is embedded below.
Stupid Hype, co-created and directed by Dugan O'Neal, will premiere at the New York Television Festival on October 26, and will eventually debut on The CW's website later this fall.
