Hot on the heels of the network’s success story with Euphoria, HBO has announced the cast for the limited series, We Are Who We Are, from Call Me By Your Name and Suspiria director Luca Guadagnino. He is the director, writer and showrunner of the series, described as “a coming-of-age story about two American teenagers who, along with their military and civilian parents, are living on an American military base in Italy.” It will explore “friendship, first-love and all the unknowns of being a teenager, which could happen anywhere, but in this case, happens to be in this little slice of America in Italy.”

Chloe Sevigny, Alice Braga and Kid Cudi are among the established actors on the series, as well as young, upcoming actors Spence Moore II (All American, Five Points),  Jack Dylan Grazer (It, Shazam). Others are singer Jordan Kristine Seamon, Faith Alabi, Francesca Scorsese (Martin Scorsese’s daughter in her on-screen debut), Ben Taylor, Corey Knight, Tom Mercier and Sebastiano Pigazzi.

The roles right now are unclear, so we don’t know which actors are playing the teens at the center of the story, nor do we know the roles of the adult actors.

The series is exec produced by Lorenzo Mieli and Mario Gianani, Nick Hall, Sean Conway, Riccardo Neri and Francesco Melzi d’Eril. Paolo Giordano and Francesca Manieri are writers with Guadagnino.
