Wendy Williams may not be speaking to the media but that doesn’t mean she’s completely missing in action. The queen of daytime TV has been on hiatus since last season, with guest hosts filling in for her talk show this season as she deals with reported health issues. Williams has since been replaced by Sherri Shepherd, who’s new show Sherri will premiere this Fall. Fans have been waiting to hear directly from Williams’ mouth what’s been going on but she continues to lay low. But DJ Boof, the former DJ on her show, has given a glimpse into Williams’ world recently.

DJ Boof and Wendy Williams fell out

Boof left the Wendy Williams Show while she was still active and on-air, before the coronavirus pandemic began and at-home shut-in orders were in place. At the time of his exit, he admitted that he was concerned with William’s health and behavior as Williams finalized her divorce and rumors of her relapsing into drug and alcohol addiction began floating.

“Y’all have no idea what’s really going on and everyone there is afraid to speak up because they don’t wanna lose their jobs,” he said at the time, as reported by The Sun. “This is going to play out bad… I feel sorry for the workers and victims.” He was reportedly fired.

Upon Williams returning post summer break, DJ Boof was nowhere to be found. Instead, Power 105.1 personality DJ Suss One was in the DJ booth.

The reunion came amid DJ Boof visiting Florida
