We’ve got our first look at Netflix’s upcoming series, What/If. The series is headlined by Renee Zellweger. Keith Powers (The New Edition Story, Famous in Love), Samantha Ware (Glee) and John Clarence Stewart (Luke Cage) are among the series’ ensemble cast, which also includes Blake Jenner, Jane Levy,  Juan Castano, Dave Annable, Louis Herthum and Saamer Usmani.

Even after this short teaser, not much is known about the mysterious, yet intriguing series.

The drama, which has a first season set for 10 episodes, is described as “a neo-noir social thriller that explores the ripple effects of what happens when acceptable people start doing unacceptable things. Each season will tackle a different morality tale inspired by culturally consequential source material and the power of a single fateful decision to change the trajectory of an entire life. The first season revolves around newlyweds who accept a dangerous proposition.”

Zellweger’s character is described as “a shrewd and mercurial San Francisco venture capitalist whose towering successes and meticulously curated public persona is the result of a searing devotion to her unapologetic post-feminist doctrine — not to mention the title of her best-selling book, At Any Cost.” Levy and Jenner are said to be playing the newlyweds.

Powers will play Todd, Ware is Angela and Stewart is Lionel. No other details are known about their characters.

The series is set to premiere May 24 on Netflix.
