It’s a nostalgic road down memory lane when your faves get together. This is what happened for many when Will Smith and Tyra Banks got together recently.
In the latest episode of Will From Home, Will Smith’s Snapchat quarantine series, the Academy Award-nominated actor had Banks as his guest.
During the episode, both Smith and Banks reminisce about the latter’s time on the ’90s sitcom classic, The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air. Banks, in her acting debut, portrayed Will’s childhood friend Jackie Ames – for seven episodes on the classic sitcom in 1993.
When asked if this was one of her first acting experiences, Banks reflected about her time on set and how she landed the role.
“Not ‘one of.’ That was my first acting job ever,” she explained.
During the interview, Banks’ mother interrupts her, leading to a humorous exchange between the two. “I’m on the TV with Will,” Tyra yells to her mother. “I’m trying to get a snack in the kitchen,” Banks’ says mom off-camera. “And she’s telling me to shut up!” Banks and Smith also recreated a humorous scene between Jackie and Will.
