Will Smith is ready to get back in the best shape of his life. Smith recently took his Instagram to tease his post-pandemic body in black trunks with the Pussycat Dolls’ hit song “Don’t Cha” blasting in the background.

Smith wrote, “This is the body that carried me through an entire pandemic and countless days grazing thru the pantry,” he captioned the post. “I love this body, but I wanna FEEL better. No more midnight muffins…this is it! Imma get in the BEST SHAPE OF MY LIFE!!!!!”

It turns out, this post was part of the promotion for his new series. Smith is teaming up once again with YouTube for a six-part unscripted docuseries titled Best Shape of My Life. The series will document Smith’s fitness journey.

According to the official description, “This is the fun, funny, inspirational, wildly adventurous, and deeply entertaining story of Smith challenging himself to improve every aspect of his fitness, from agility to power to recovery and more, teaming up with guests including pro athletes, scientists and experts, and top YouTube creators.” Best Shape of My Life will have Dexton Deboree (Unbanned, Promiseland) as the showrunner and director.

Smith previously released a photo in a windbreaker jacket and similar shorts with the caption, “I’m going to be real with y’all- I’m in the worst shape of my life”. The photo received an outpouring of support from his friends, fellow celebrities and fans abroad. Many told the megastar that it was normal and that he needed some off time.

Days later, the new partnership between Smith and YouTube was announced. Smitth previously worked with the platform to document his bungee jump from a helicopter over the Grand Canyon for his 50th birthday.
