I actually didn't realize that this project was still alive…

Last we reported, ABC had passed on the pilot, but it Lifetime apparently picked it up – and not just the pilot, but ordered 13 episodes. You know what they say, one man's trash is another man's treasure – although that still remains to be seen.

The latest addition to the cast is actor Wolé Parks, who has landed a series regular role on what is now Lifetime's Devious Maids, which is based on the Mexican Telenovela, The Disorderly Maids Of The Neighborhood, and will follow four maids played by Ana OrtizDania RamirezRoselyn Sanchez, and Judy Reyes, who work as maids for the wealthy of Beverly Hills, while having goals and dreams of their own.

Eva Longoria serves as exec producer, helmed by Desperate Housewives's Marc Cherry.

Wolé Parks will play a character named Sam, who works wihin the home of one of the rich and wealthy – a recording star named Alejandro Reyes. Maybe he's the butler.

Parks, an alum of daytime soap, As The World Turns, was last seen on the big screen in Premium Rush.
