'Wu-Tang: An American Saga' Season 3: Premiere Date For Final Season Of Hulu Series Revealed, Ashton Sanders Teases The Last Run

It’s the end of the road for Hulu’s original series Wu-Tang: An American Saga.

The streaming platform recently announced that the series will return for its third and final season on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2023. The first three episodes will be available to watch on the premiere date with new episodes dropping every week.

The finale is set to debut on April 5.

Here’s a synopsis of Season 3:

Off the release of their debut album and their continued rise to fame, we follow the Wu-Tang Clan over the course of their five-year plan as they face and overcome different challenges. While each of the members go on separate journeys to figure out where they fit in the music world, RZA struggles to stay on top of things in order to fulfill the promise he made to his Wu brothers. As money, fame, ego, and business threaten to tear the group apart, they must find a way to come together and cement their legacy.

The show stars Ashton Sanders, Shameik Moore, Siddiq Saunderson, Julian Elijah Martinez, Marcus Callender, Zolee Griggs, T.J. Atoms, Dave East, Johnell Young, Uyoata Udi and Damani Sease.

Created and written by Alex Tse (Superfly) and group frontman The RZA, Method Man is among the executive producers. Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa and GZA are consulting producers. Chris Robinson directed and exec produced the pilot. Brian Grazer and Samie Kim Falvey also serve as executive producers.

Star Ashton Sanders hints that this upcoming season will be unforgettable.

“This show has been blessed to have a strong core following and I think the fans are going to be stoked [at the] culmination of the group.” Sanders exclusively told Shadow and Act managing editor Trey Mangum in a recent interview for his new film, Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance With Somebody. “We’ve seen them at the heights of their careers, not only as individual artists, [but also together], and it’s navigating that and what it was also behind the curtain for them. I think we are definitely doing some interesting stuff this season.”
