Yandy Smith-Harris Gives Update On Infinity Relationship As Drama Continues To Play Out On 'Love & Hip Hop'

Yandy Smith-Harris is putting rumors to rest that she and her foster daughter Infinity are still embroiled in issues. Fans are watching current episodes of Love & Hip Hop air documenting some estrangement between the once-close pair.

It all started when the VH1 reality star kicked Infinity out of the family home after giving Infinity an ultimatum about her older boyfriend that Smith-Harris didn’t approve of. Smith-Harris says the guy in question tried selling false stories to the tabloids as an act of revenge, putting the custody of Smith-Harris’ other two children in jeopardy.

Things escalated further when Infinity felt left out when Smith-Harris’ husband Mendeecees returned from prison and left Infinity out of a social media holiday family post. Mendeecees previously expressed concern over having the teenager live with them full-time.

Fans of the show, and at times Infinity, say Smith-Harris has chosen the comfort of her husband over her love for Infinity. Smith-Harris denies such. Mendeecees has also gotten backlash but insists he loves Infinity also and is trying his best to mend things and build a stronger bond.

In a recent Instagram comment, Smith-Harris cleared up any speculation that things between her and Infinity remain distant.

“This is an older episode,” she wrote, as captured by Urban Belle Mag. “Y’all know I’m mushy and love to love. Lol y’all be acting silly when these episodes air from months. We were great after this. Talked more.”

She does admit that watching the episodes back bring up old feelings that they have to work through.

“She mad at me again though about something different but it’s life,” she said. “We’ll get past that too. Y’all so silly.”
