This is Us star Sterling K. Brown has booked a gig on Amazon’s awards favorite,  The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

Monday, Brown announced the news in a video on Twitter.

He said in part, “I’m Eastward bound. I’m going to do a little TV show, maybe you’ve heard of it. The Palladinos were kind enough to write a little something for your boy, and I said yes. So, stay tuned. I’m getting together with Midge and it’s going to be awesome.”

His role in the third season of the show, toplined by Emmy winner Rachel Brosnahan, is unknown right now.

This shouldn’t come as a surprise as Brown, a documented fan of the show, was approached by Brosnahan at the SAG Awards, where she asked him to be on the show.

Season 3 of the series should be expected in late 2019.
