Paramount+ has revealed the hosts of its revival of Yo! MTV Raps.

Battle rapper Conceited and deejay DJ Diamond Kuts will host the return of the hip hop series. . The new show will be a reimagined global iteration for the culture that will include hosted segments, live performances, cyphers, lifestyle content, and serve as a comprehensive deep dive into the current state of hip-hop.

The show originally debuted in August 1988. It quickly became the premiere destination for hip hop music and influencers.

Reggie “Conceited” Sergile is known for being a battle rapper in the SMACK/URL circuit, as well as a cast member on Wild ‘N Out. He has a huge social media following, surpassing more than 30 million online views. Conceited is also the host of the MTV internet series Sneaker Wars – posted on the Wild ‘N Out YouTube channel. 

Philadelphia native DJ Diamond Kuts is the first female mixer to have a DJ slot on Philly radio – as well as being the official DJ for the Philadelphia Eagles. She’s lent her skills for political campaigns, including President Barack Obama, and has toured with big names such as Nicki Minaj, paving the way for many female deejays in the game.

Executive producers for the reboot include Kurt Williamson, Warren Oliver, and Michelle Kenner of HollandWest Productions. Kim Velona is Head of Production. Bruce Gillmer and Jennifer Demme serve as executive producers for MTV
