Do you remember Single Ladies? The drama series, executive produced by Queen Latifah, ran on VH1 from 2011 to 2015 and starred a bevy of leading ladies, such as LeToya Luckett, Charity Shea and most notably, Stacey Dash.
Dash, who played Valerie Stokes, departed after the first season and was replaced by Denise Vasi.
It turns out, Dash’s departure may have been related to tension with fellow co-star LisaRaye McCoy, who starred in Single Ladies as Keisha Greene.
In a snippet from TV One’s Uncensored, McCoy recounts a difficult experience working with Dash on set. “She would never deliver the line the way they wanted her to,” McCoy said. “So we took a break and when we took a break I walked over to her and said, ‘Stacey, just do the line the way she wants you to do it so we can get up outta here.'”
According to McCoy, the Clueless actress responded by placing a finger in her face and telling her “you don’t tell me anything.”

LMFAOOOO Lisa Raye is a great storyteller. I was literally crying of laughter as she spoke about the tension with Stacey Dash while filming for the show Single Ladies. ???????????? pic.twitter.com/swZUCkXKsu
