50 Cent had some choice words for Starz after the network released Episode 7 of BMF early.
The episode, which the rapper directed, went up by accident on the Starz app a week before its scheduled release of Nov. 14. The mistake sent 50 Cent, who also goes by his given name Curtis Jackson, into a tailspin on social media.
“Starz is a s—tshow, they better sell it fast,” he wrote, according to TVLine. “They put the f—ing BMF show on, then took it down. What network does s–t like that? They just ruined the anticipation of the episode I directed, I WORKED HARD ON THIS. I can’t work with these people anymore.”
He also tweeted that Starz initially asked him to hold back the episode for a week so the series could dovetail into the Season 2 premiere of Jackson's other shows, 'Power Book II: Ghost.'
“I said cool. Then these s–thead people put the f—ing episode out for three hours and take it down. This is not okay. When I get uncomfortable, I make everybody uncomfortable. Now how getting fired?”
After thanking friend and fellow rapper Eminem for guest-starring as real-life criminal-turned FBI informant Richard “White Boy Rick” Wershe Jr., Jackson also tweeted, “Episode 7 of BMF is the best work I have done directing to date. I’m disappointed that Starz handled this so poorly. I used my personal relationships to make things happen they [Starz] couldn’t have made happen.”

arz has issued an apology Monday via a spokesperson, stating that the mistake came from a technical error within the Starz app and they don't know how many viewers watched before the episode was taken from the service.
“The fan demand for BMF, and specifically this highly-anticipated episode directed by executive producer Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson, is undeniable,” stated the apology. “There was a technical glitch that allowed fans that have the Starz app, who logged in right at midnight, to temporarily access the episode early. The episode will be released globally, as planned, on Sunday Nov. 14, across all Starz platforms.”
