In a new reality television series, Judge Greg Mathis is taking a break from leading with a sharp iron in the courtroom to showing his softer side as a father, husband, and grandfather.

Back-to-back episodes will air in the first week, beginning at 10 p.m. ET.

The judge shows family life

The show features Judge Greg Mathis, Sr., his wife, Linda Mathis, and their four grown children – Jade Mathis, Camara Mathis Webb, Greg Mathis, Jr., and Amir Mathis. Also featured are the grandchildren.

Judge Mathis isn’t the only one who has reached a pinnacle of success. For the first time in years, the whole family is back in the same city and ready to take over LA by showcasing their own careers, relationships and personalities. The series gives a rare look into the Mathis’ Hollywood lifestyle and family fun.

His leadership isn’t always wanted at home

While he may be the boss in the courtroom the same doesn’t apply at home. As the trailer shows, Judge Mathis’ opinions and being an “expert on everything” sometimes falls flat with his adult children. But Linda, the matriarch of the family, has a welcomed wit about her. With the family living together under one roof, she makes it her mission to keep everyone together regardless of the ups and downs,

Meet the children

Jade is bi-costal and living life to the fullest as she decides if her dreams of being a full-time motivational speaker outweigh her career in law like her famous father. Her sister Camara appears to be dad’s favorite, with the nickname “Mother Mathis” she has a family of her own along with her husband, Ryan, and daughters Nora and Zara. She too is venturing back into working in law.

Greg Jr. and his long-term boyfriend, Elliott are in the real estate business. They work to navigate love and life together while sharing their truth with the world. The youngest son Amir is building his production company. He’s recently divorced but doesn’t hesitate to jump into another serious relationship.
