Ray J and Princess Love are now permanent residents of Miami. The couple moved to South Florida earlier this year after spending time there for Ray’s birthday and never left.

It appears the city has done wonders for the VH1 reality stars’ relationship. Both filed separate divorce documents in 2020 but have reconciled and are working on their marriage. The couple’s marital woes include rumors of Ray’s cheating, excessive partying, and disappearing acts leaving Love feeling abandoned in the marriage and acting as a single parent to their two children, Melody and Epik.

While a city like Miami may seem like a temptation island with the women and club scene, Love and Ray have settled in and made it home. Love often shares photos and videos on her Instagram page of their new life, oftentimes on a yacht sipping champagne.

“Yo, Miami is alive,” Ray told TMZ recently. “Miami is alive.”

It may be so alive that the couple are switching Love & Hip Hop franchises. The two have starred on the Hollywood franchise since its first season. The Jasmine Brand reports that Ray and Love may be shifting to Miami, joining current cast members Trina, Trick Daddy, and Amara La Negra.

They recently ended their stint on VH1’s Couples’ Therapy where they gave more insight into their troubles. Love explained the lack of trust and protection she feels in her marriage. They even revealed they hadn’t been intimate in months. Still, she said she’d continue having children with Ray.

Ray on the other hand appeared checked out of their marriage, having a hard time answering firmly whether or not he even wanted to be married. The One On One star hinted that he didn’t want to break up their family and was staying for their kids.

Despite the clear distance between the couple, the two ironically won a game where each couple were tested on who knew their partner best. It proved there was some love between the two.

Neither Ray nor Love have confirmed whether or not they are joining the Miami franchise. But, time will tell.
